Come play D&D with us!
We’ll be at the Fort Collins Autism Resource Fair on May 3rd from 11am to 4pm, and this year we’re bringing something a little different.
A few of us who run therapeutic Dungeons and Dragons and social flourishing groups through Rocky Mountain Group Therapy Cooperative will be there, running games throughout the day, something people can actually sit down and play.
The fair is a free community event at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, focused on connecting neurodiverse individuals and families with local resources and support . It is a welcoming, low pressure space, and we are glad to be part of it.
What it will look like
We will have a couple tables running continuously. You can jump in anytime, stay for a few minutes or longer, or just watch if that feels better. No experience needed, we will guide you.
Why D&D?
We use roleplaying in our groups because it can support connection, shared focus, creativity, and trying things out through a character. It also gives people a way to engage socially without pressure.
No pressure
We will have information about our groups if you are curious, but the focus is simply to create a space where people can play, connect, and feel comfortable.
If you are coming
Stop by, roll some dice, and hang out for a bit. You are welcome whether you have played before or not.
